Aristolochia labiata/ brasiliensis

Often referred to as ‘Rooster Flower’ this native from Brazil puts on a show with absolutely amazing, unusual blooms. Huge, 7 inch wide flowers are dappled with a network of purple, red, green, and yellow with an inflated tube that seems to extend an invitation to all butterflies. Heart-shaped leaves are large too, measuring as much as 8-9 inches across on a vine that grows to 15 feet or more. Providing blooms in mid summer to frost, this tropical vine is only hardy to zone 10, but can be pruned and brought indoors in colder climates. Pkt. 10
