Parthenocissus quinquefolia ‘Virginia Creeper’

A North American native, this deciduous vine climbs by tendrils with adhesvise-like tips. Quick to cover old sheds or trees, or to soften angular buildings, Virginia Creeper is an extremely hardy vine to zone 3. New growth is bronze-red, turning a rich, lustrous deep green in summer. In autumn, leaves turn an amazing shade of purple-red lighting up the landscape with color. When leaves finally drop, blue-black berries remain providing a feast for birds. Very ornamental, leaves are divided into five leaflets on a 25 + foot vine. Pkt. 25
