Purple Hyacinth Bean Dolichos Lablab

Grown at Thomas Jefferson's farm Monticello, the Hyacinth Bean has a long history of being an exceptional heirloom vine. It produces long spiked clusters of lavender flowers which are held above the purple tinged foliage and purple stems. Blooms turn into beautiful purple pods adding interest to the vine all summer.
