Rhodochiton (R. atrosanguineus)

With heart shaped leaves, dark purple blooms dangle from an umbrella shaped calyx in a bright fuchsia hue which remains after the center has fallen giving the appearance of two kinds of blooms on the same vine. Growing to 84 inches, Rhodochiton needs rich, well drained soil and full sun and will bloom from late spring to late fall. Pkt. 10
