This Gerbera daisy presents large 3 inch chocolate blooms with black centers on a compact plant with dark green leaves. An F1 hybrid, the Midi series has a uniform growth habit and is quick to flower. Blooming year round in zones 9-11, but will have peaks of bloom in late spring and again in late fall. Sow in moist potting mix, just cover. Place the sharp end of the seed pointed downward in the mix. Keep at 68-72 F. and bright light. Transplant to 3 inch pots when 2 sets of leaves appear. Germinates in 7-14 days.
