Gaillardia Yellow Queen
Commonly known as blanketflower, Gaillardia is a vigorous, long-blooming, hardy perennial that is both heat-loving and drought tolerant. Plants produce mounds of soft green, slightly hairy foliage in spring. By early summer they begin to produce daisy-like flowers in brilliant yellow with golden-yellow fuzzy centers and are attractive to butterflies. Regular deadheading will encourage fresh blooms from summer into late fall. Blanketflower grows best in full sun and average soil with good drainage and will reach 24 inches tall. This tough perennial is ideal for mixed sunny borders, butterfly gardens, and for cutting. Hardy to zone 3. 25 Ultraclean seeds
