Dicentra eximia Bleeding Heart
Fringed Bleeding Heart produces hundreds of arching stems laden with deep pink heart-shaped blooms on grey-green ferny foliage. Plants grow 10-18 inches tall in moist well drained soil and bloom from early summer to late fall in shady areas. The foliage of Dicentra Eximia will not die back like that of old fashion bleeding heart but will continue to flower if it receives ample moisture and deadheading. A tremendous performer, this easy to grow perennial adds elegance and color to the shady border. Hardy to zone 4. Pkt. 15
