The foliage of Dicentra Eximia will not die back like that of old fashion bleeding heart but will continue to flower if it receives ample moisture and deadheading. Surface sow on moist seed mix pressing seeds into mix. Cover lightly with mix, place in plastic zip lock bag and keep at 64-72°F for 2-4 wks. Then place in the refrigerator or keep outdoors between 25-39°F for 4-6 wks. Move container to a location at 45-55°F out of direct sunlight. Germ. 15-20 days.
