Chrysanthemums are a popular plant for a vibrant splash of color in late summer through fall. This seed strain produces cushion-shaped, compact plants with double and semi-double flowers in a whole range of rich jewel tones. Best in a sunny area, with regular watering through the season, mums will benefit from division every 2 to 3 years in the spring to maintain vigorous, healthy plants. A great choice for the garden, or in tubs and mixed containers. Pinching plants in June should not really be necessary, but will result in a much greater number of flowers. This hardy cushion mum is very well branched and forms a 20” wide mound of 2½ inch flowers in a wide color mix on 1 foot tall stems. A super fall garden performancer that blooms the first year from seed if started early. Pkt.25
