This unique Columbine sports flowers in a deep, rich shade of blue over highly variegated lime-green foliage splashed with bright yellow. The contrast is beautiful and will turn heads and stays beautiful even when not in bloom. Brightens dappled shade and grows well in part sun in cooler climates. Aquilegias make excellent cut flowers and last up to 2 weeks in a vase. A spectacular sight when allowed to self sow. Grows 24 inches tall and is hardy to zone 4. Pkt. 20
Sow in moist potting mix at 40F. for 4 weeks. Press seed into mix but do not cover as light aids in germination. Bring to 68-72 F. and bright light. Transplant to 3 inch pots when 2 sets of leaves appear. Germinates in 15-21 days.
