A vigorous and showy vine with buds starting out green and opening to reveal the green saucer and bell shaped flowers. The large, pale green flowers become striped with violet, finally changing to deep purple, all on the vine at the same time. This show is against violet shaded tendrils and foliage that grows to 20 feet. A beautiful vine, and easy to grow, cobaea does well in heat, humidity, and drought. Pkt. 10

Sow in moist potting mix ½ inch deep, placing the seed on its edge. Keep at 68-72 F. and bright light. Does best sown in peat pots or direct sown. Germinates in 10-14 days.
